The simulation racer market has already gotten a little more crowded this year with the launch of Project CARS, but it’s about to get even more crowded next year with the release of Assetto Corsa on PS4 and Xbox One.
The name might sound familiar to you if you spend much time on Steam, as it’s been out over there since last year. Praised for its true simulation experience, Assetto Corsa will launch with over 100 officially licensed cars and 20 tracks, all paired with a career mode and multiplayer, among other options. The developer, Kunos Simulazioni, has paired with 505 Games for publishing, and you can find a ripe announcement trailer just below.
So how about it? Any sim racer fans out there looking for something beyond Gran Turismo, Forza or Project CARS, and would be willing to check out a new competitor?

Smashing! Always up for another racer in consoles, perhaps PCars strong sales has pave the way for more of this.

Great news, I nearly bought this last year but didn’t think my pc would do it justice. A lot of the racing simulator forum members have this as their favourite Sim racer.
