Microsoft have formerly announced the 1TB Xbox for North America and it will retail at $399 with the 500GB version permanently dropping in price to $349.
The new version of the console comes with “a new matte finish” and the new Xbox One controller, which has a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Selected regions will also find a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection in the bundle.
The updated controller has improved audio quality, fine-tuned the bumpers for more consistent performance and wireless firmware updates which eliminates having to connect the controller via USB cable.

Meanwhile, Sony have announced that a Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PlayStation 4 will be available across Europe, Australia and New Zealand on 1st September.
The console will come with a 500GB hard drive and “a distinctive deep red with gold line detail, inspired by the look of Snake’s Bionic Arm.”
There is also a special metallic grey Dualshock 4 Wireless Controller which features feature the unit emblem of Diamond Dogs, a private military organisation led by Snake. The logo can also be found on the console.

Microsoft may get brownie points for being the first to release a mass produced 1TB console, but boy, Sony have won on pure sexiness.
UPDATE: GAME have announced that it has secured UK exclusivity on the 1TB Xbox One for a whole ten days! The console will cost you £349 and is available now.

Hmmm, not sure about matte…Maybe it’s to cut costs. I like my glossy black consoles :)
If anything they should try putting on a pearlescent finish, that would look cool.
I do like the outer packaging for the mgs PS4 bundle.

I like the MGS PS4, but not as much as I liked the beautiful dark grey MGS4. The controller, however, is sexiness incarnate. There’s a gap in the market for custom PS4 cases, not just wraps either.

Ron I think you are right, some bespoke Ps4 cases could be stunning.
Thinking of turning to a life of crime to line my walls with that beautiful red thang
