Titanfall is now apparently available to EA Access subscribers, though it hasn’t yet appeared on the Vault list. Instead searching for it via Xbox Bing brings the desired result, and should allow subscribers to get Respawn’s multiplayer title. The discovery first appeared on Reddit, accompanied by the following image. Titanfall also has a lot of free content available for it, so this a very good deal.
This was probably going to be announced properly tomorrow, but someone might have hit the launch button early. Of course this adds speculation to a Titanfall 2 annoucement during an E3 conference, but Respawn isn’t going to be at the event in an official capacity. In fact at the end of last month Vince Zampella, the studio head, tweeted that nothing would be shown this year. Of course that could be a ruse, and a sequel announcement could land on our heads. Don’t hold your breath though.
UPDATE: The EA Access website still states very clearly “TITANFALL EXCLUDED FROM ALL EA ACCESS FEATURES”.

Odd, all the promotional stuff for the vault specifically said Titanfall would not be in it, ever.

That was because they didn’t own the ip, so I’m thinking something must have changed…

Worth a play, high quality game, you will really struggle to find a game that isn’t the attrition game mode though. Unless the EA access invigorates the player base.

My favorite shooter on xbox, great game.
