EA decided to bring out something a little smaller to follow up all the Star Wars, Need for Speed and Mass Effect talk at E3 this year. They’re publishing a new game developed by Coldwood Studios by the name of Unravel.
Unravel is a puzzle-platformer where you take control of a character that’s entirely made of yarn. As you play, the yarn unravels behind you, allowing you to use it to swing across ledges, make bridges, pull items with you and latch onto fast moving objects.
It’s clear there’s a metric ton of love and emotion poured into Unravel. From the conception of the character, the way the lead developer described him as weaving his way through someone’s life while trying to tie everything together, and of course the final bit with the flower that tugs at your cute meter just a little bit.
No platforms or a release date were talked about but we hope to know and see more about Unravel very soon.
