Techland has announced some events that will be coming to Dying Light over the next six weekends, in a promotion called Summer With Dying Light. The events are nothing to do with the current Drink For DLC promotion the studio is running, where players are getting some DLC for drinking a glass of water and tweeting a picture using the specific hashtag. That promotion was starting as a tongue in cheek reaction to Destiny’s Red Bull DLC promotion.
The first Summer With Dying Light event begins tomorrow and will be going until Sunday, and it is called Spider Crane. In Spider Crane players will have unlimited grappling hook shots and almost non-existent fall damage. You’ll basically be able to pretend to be Spider Man in a zombie apocalypse. The other announced event is called Harran Marathon, which I guess gives unlimited stamina though Techland hasn’t announced details for that.

July 11-12 – Harran Marathon
