Activision has announced that the 26th of August is when Xbox One and PC owners will be able to partake in the Call Of Duty: Black Ops III beta, as long as they have pre-ordered it anyway. This beta will last until August 30th. The PS4 version will be a week earlier from August 19th until the 23rd. The modes and maps that will be present in the beta have yet to be confirmed, though Team Deathmatch is a very likely candidate.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops III will release on November 6th for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
