Witch Beam has announced that its twin stick shooter Assault Android Cactus will release on September 23rd for PC. In Q1 2016 the game will be released for PS4, Vita, and Wii U though an exact date is yet to be confirmed. Players can choose one of four androids at the beginning of the game, each one equipped with their own primary and secondary attacks that can be used against the hordes of enemies.
Five more androids are unlockable as progression is made through Assault Android Cactus, though one isn’t unlocked until the game is beaten once. The game will have multiplayer that supports up to four players, and additional modes outside the main campaign. Infinity Drive tasks the player with surviving as long as possible, while Daily Drive offers a new challenge each day. The catch with Daily Drive is that the challenge can only be attempted once.
