The PS Vita Version Of Assault Android Cactus Is No Longer In Production

Originally revealed at Gamescom 2013 as a cross-buy title for PS Vita and PlayStation, Assault Android Cactus made it to the the big console last year but the Vita version was missing. Devleopers Witch Beam revealed it was still in production despite them knowing it probably wouldn’t make money, and it was ““super-important that we do what we said we’d do.”

Sadly those good intentions were not good enough to save the Vita version, as they have tweeted “Unfortunately development stalled and is unlikely to resume at this point. We’re not happy about this but will announce if anything changes.”

  1. Seems like there’s been a few of these Vita cancellation announcements this year, i guess it’s the beginning of the end for the little wonder machine. Ah well :(

  2. It was part of one of those PS+ votes one month, along with Grow Up and something else. I ended up buying it for PS4 and it was not particularly good or bad. I actually sold all my physical Vita games recently as i only ever use it for remote play these days.
