EA Opens Sign Up Site For The Need For Speed Closed Beta

EA has opened up a registration site for those who wish to sign up for the chance to take part in the Need For Speed closed beta. The beta will be on PS4 and Xbox One though dates and details are to be confirmed. To sign up you just need to click this link and register interest with an EA account. Sign ups are open until September 25th and you have to choose you platform preference.

I’d assume then that the beta will take place in the first week of October, as Need For Speed will be releasing on November 5th. That month time frame will give the developers a little time to add some last minute tweaks for the servers. This Need For Speed game will require an internet connection to play, so server stability will be a must.

  1. Thanks for the heads up, signed up.

  2. Thanks from me too. Signed up.

  3. Handy points from the terms and conditions for the beta…

They don’t “expect you to forego other activities, including gainful employment” during the beta. Which is nice of them.

The laws of California apply. Unless you’re German, in which case German law applies. The world now consists entirely of “Germany” and “Not Germany”.

“This game sucks” is apparently not helpful and EA felt the need to explicitly point that out. Because internet, probably.

    • Lol. We should be grateful we still have a “Not Germany” ;)
