You wouldn’t exactly think it to look at all of the screenshots and gameplay trailers filled with vast explosions and an excess of seemingly boundless destruction, but there’s actually a story to Just Cause 3, and this is what’s being highlighted in the latest trailer.
Of course, it’s going to be the sandbox chaos that bring the boys to JC3’s yard, but that doesn’t mean that Avalanche can’t have a little fun in creating a story of revenge. It’s a relatively simple story though, as Rico heads back to his home country and island of Medici to join and rekindle the resistance movement, as they try and wrest it and its bounty of newly discovered and highly desirable natural resources from the hands of the ruthless dictator, General Di Ravello.
It just so happens that he’s going to blow up anything and everything that stands in his way to do so…

Who needs a complex storyline when you’re knee deep blowing up shit and thieving military flying hardware to erm… blow up shit :P
This game will really kick start the next gen for me, can’t wait for it’s release!
