Street Fighter V Releasing February 16th, Tekken 7 Also Confirmed For PS4

Yoshinoro Ono has taken to the stage to talk about Street Fighter V, and has confirmed that the release date for the game will be February 16th. A trailer was also released to confirm that Dhalsim would be part of the roster. He wasn’t the only new piece of character news as Ono confirmed that six characters will be released through 2016, and all of them will be available for free using the in game currency that players earned.

There was also a bit of comedic moment where Tekken’s producer Katsuhiro Harada took to the stage, and pretended to be the 16th character of Street Fighter. It wasn’t just a random stage invasion though as Harada confirmed that Tekken 7 will be making its way to PS4. Unfortunately there was no news of the still absent Tekken X Street Fighter, which was announced in 2010. Tekken 7 will also be a PSVR title.
