Take Two Interactive has confirmed that Gearbox’s Battleborn has been delayed, with the new release date being May 3rd 2016. The original planned release date was February 9th. The news of the delay came via Take Two’s quarterly financial report. Reasons for the delay have not been made available, though there is a closed technical test that may have yielded results that require time to fix.
Battleborn is a first person shooter that draws inspiration from MOBAs like Dota 2 and League Of Legends, but aims to change up the formula. Players will be able to choose from 25 different characters, all armed with their own weapons and abilities. Battleborn was originally announced in 2014.
