Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn Is Revealed

Shaq Fu was a 2D fighting game originally released on the Sega Megadrive way back in 1994 and was ported to many other systems including the Game Boy and Commodore Amiga.

It was met with a tepid reception and has gone to become part of video game history, with many deriding the game. In fact there is a whole movement dedicated to wiping out every copy in existence, the Shaq Fu Liberation Front, who are understandably annoyed that the game is being rebooted in 2016.

Shaq is back courtesy of developer Big Deez Productions and the game is scheduled for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

  1. What.

    Why?

Why is this a thing? the original was shit. Just watch the Angry Video Game Nerd’s review of it. It is shit. Why wait 20 years to do it when Shaq is well, he is kinda out of the public view and i’m sure he is retired from basketball.

Also, the original was just a cash grab. I doubt this will have much success then again, if Kim self obessessed with a moon shaped bottom Kharadaisan(i know it’s wrong but i can’t spell her last name) can do a game that met with a mixed reception, in theory, a game like this should do better.

Why is this a thing again?
