Street Fighter V Boss Character F.A.N.G And DLC Lineup Revealed

Street Fighter V’s final launch character has been announced and is a brand new character called F.A.N.G. Along with a new stage that takes place in the Shadoloo headquarters.

Complete with massive hat and kimono garbs, he’s a member of the Shadoloo organisation that M.Bison supposedly runs. He looks oddly like someone out of One Piece, including a weird movement style. We won’t know much from the trailer, but he certainly is unorthodox enough to be a tough match.

Yoshinori Ono then made an entrance onto the PlayStation Experience, courtesy of a ring announcer and was delighted to note that this character hadn’t seen a leak ahead of the announcement. He went on to explain a little about F.A.N.G’s background.

Ono also revealed officially the first six DLC characters, which include Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri, and Urien. These were part of a leak earlier in the year, but it’s great to see that the likes of Alex and Urien, two characters who haven’t been in a series game since Street Fighter III.

He then went on to announce that characters are earnable for free, but the 2016 season pass will be available from today for those who are getting impatient. No price details were announced as of yet, but no doubt that the cost will be readily available for your region on the PlayStation Store.

Ono ended his segment with the announcement that the final segment of the Capcom Cup would take place at PlayStation Experience, before paying tribute to those responsible for bringing Street Fighter V to PlayStation.

It’s been an exciting 12 months since the game was announced with a flux of announcements in the middle of the year. So now you know what will be in the box when the game launches on February 16, 2016.
