First a quick round up of the ‘leaks’, Amazon France have suggested Doom will be landing on all formats on June 30th. Hurrah! Meanwhile, US retailer Target are selling pre-order cards for Homefront: The Revolution with a release date of May 17th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The third snitches are Amazon, Gamestop and Best Buy, who all have Mafia III pegged for April 26th. Everyone happy? Good.
We’ve been doing this for long enough to know that most of the time these dates are placeholders, and us reporting them is just as much a waste of time as you reading them, which is why we don’t bother. However, as there has been a spate of ‘leaks’ in the past day I thought you might like an explanation why this ‘news’ isn’t appearing on TSA.
Unlike other sites we don’t have to hit a minimum number of news posts per day so we don’t report every tiny bit of gossip, no matter how improbable. Think of a it a nice filter system where only the prime fillets of news get posted. As soon as we have official dates (which, let’s face it, will probably slip six months), we will give you the heads up.

Loved Homefront. The multiplayer was great fun, when it worked. I’m still waiting to hear what the new IP is, after 3 years, from the former Kaos Studios/THQ Montreal team, now at Ubi.
