The second CGI animation for Overwatch has arrived and this one stars Widowmaker, “the peerless Talon assassin who stalks her prey with deadly efficiency.” Set one night in London’s King’s Row the short tale shows how just one death can “change everything.”

i have no interest in a pvp shooter, but the world they’re creating for the game just keeps getting more and more interesting.
a world where superintelligent apes exist, well, one of them does.
and there seems to be some sort of robotic race that is treated as people instead of the enemy of mankind, possibly even given equal rights.
then there’s all these powers these characters have.
somebody at Blizzard did an interview where he stated they are open to taking the series in new directions after this game, possibly into other genres.
an Overwatch rpg could be pretty cool.

When Blizzard turns it’s energy into worldbuilding it just amazes me what they can come up with. And this game won’t even have a singplayer story mode. I would play that just to get used to the characters.
