Attack On Titan Gets A New Trailer, And A New Title

Attack on Titan is out in Japan and heads to the west on August 6th with a brand new title, A.O.T: Wings Of Freedom. It has also been revealed the game will be coming to Steam alongside physical and digital releases for PS4 and Xbox One, and digital releases for PS3 and PS Vita.

A.O.T. Wings of Freedom closely follows the tory line of Attack on Titan’s first season. It revolves around the story of three young people who survive the destruction of their walled city district by enormous, man-eating Titans, who then go on to join the Scout Regiment and strike back at the naked behemoths.

  1. Nice, shame there’s no physical release for the Vita, I’m sort of into collecting Vita cartridges now. Also, have you heard anything about the second series of AOT? That final image from the first series was truly horrifying, I can’t wait for more!

    • I keep looking out for news on this too.

So over the top and melodramatic but I love it!

      • Oh yeah, why not be OTT when you’re dealing with giant, bollockless monster humans! Have you seen the live action version? Also, Steins Gate? The TSA locust crew got my onto that, it’s terrific!

      • Podcast, not locust, damn auto correct

  2. Destructible houses? Nice.

I don’t like the name-change though. Attack on Titan is a name people know, AOT? I wouldn’t recognise it, and I’ve seen the show and read a bit of the manga.

    • There’s some kind of copyright issue with the title – which must be causing them no end of problems!
