Assetto Corsa Console Release Delayed Until August

A brief bit of news for those eagerly awaiting a new sim racer on console, with the announcement that the release date for Assetto Corsa on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 has been pushed back again and has now been set for 26th August in Europe and 30th August in North America.

It’s the second time that the well regarded game’s console release has been delayed, with the original release planned for April 22nd, before a delay to early June and now this additional delay until the end of August. No reason was given for the new date, but the last delay came with the explanation that the game needed more polish and development time.

  1. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Oh well, I know the more polish and refinement the better, but this is the one racing sim (quite possibly the only sim) I was looking forward to this year, and the June date would’ve nailed it for me.

  2. Gives me a bit more time to try and finish some of the games I’ve got.

  3. Nooo.

Well, okay, rather they get it sorted before release. TGMEM should be good with this game.
