Paragon is already shaping up to the be the PlayStation 4’s go-to MOBA. Developed by Epic Games and currently available via Early Access it sports a fresh take on the competitive genre, brought to life in stunning detail thanks to Unreal Engine 4.
One thing that has really caught our attention is just how diverse the roster of playable characters are in Paragon. Up until now, Epic has had a penchant for burly sleeveless space marines; just look at Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, and Bulletstorm.
Seeing characters such as Howitzer and Steel brought to life has been quite the pleasant surprise. Paragon’s last addition, Iggy & Scorch, went one step further, giving players control over a goblin-like creature and his fire-belching companion.
They’re soon to be joined by yet another newcomer in the shape of GRIM.exe. At a glance he seems like something you’d expect from Epic Games – a huge robot with chaingun in tow. However, look close and you’ll see who or what GRIM actually is – a tiny imp plucking away at the controls of this gigantic sentry.
GRIM.exe will be available to play as of next Tuesday.
