Harvest Moon: Skytree Village Coming To 3DS

Natsume has announced the newest game in its long-running Harvest Moon series. Dubbed “Skytree Village” this newest instalment will be playable at E3 2016 and is coming exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS.

The publisher has yet to release any official assets for the game, bar the logo above. According to the announcement, players will once again help maintain a farmstead. However, this time around they will aid a Harvest Goddess in restoring the seven titular Skytrees.

Aside from a new art style, characters, and crops, this latest entry features revised fishing mechanics and the ability to terraform the land around your farm. Hopefully this will add a fresh dynamic to the series which has, for a long time, iterated on the same core ideas time and again.

This is the second mainline Harvest Moon since Marvelous AQL parted ways with Natsume to create its own farming game, Story Of Seasons.
