Crystal And Steel Black Dualshock 4 Controllers Arrive In July

If you want to make your PlayStation 4 gaming a little more snazzy then you will soon be able to pick up the new Steel Black and Crystal (aka opaque) Dualshock 4 controllers for your console.

They will launch in the EU on 11th July, as part of a limited edition Crystal & Metallic range, which also sees the return of gold and silver controllers.

Please note the controllers are one uniform colour, and not split like the misleading image above.

  1. That steel black one looks lovely… Might have to sell one of my black ones and get one

  2. They look quite good but not a patch on the SCUF Infinity 4PS controllers, but a hell of a lot cheaper as the 4PS starts at around £120.

  3. Not sure ‘opaque’ is the word you were looking for, TC.

    I like the gold one.

    • Translucent? It’s a bit nineties, but then I did buy the grey one last year so maybe being a bit nineties is a good thing. I’d prefer orange crystal, the steel and silver ones look fantastic though.

  4. I’m a sucker for being able to see the innards of things like the Crystal Xbox’s and N64’s,also like the steel black.

  5. Aw, when I saw Steel Black and Crystal, I was thinking it was something fancy like the Xbox Elite controller..
