A sequel to Netherealm’s Injustice: Gods Among Us has been muttered about in dark corners of the internet for the past few days and now we have a very nice poster, leaked by someone from Gamestop, which confirms it’s existence.
We first heard about the sequel two years ago when DC mentioned there would be a second game during a comic-con panel. Obviously the game was meant for an E3 reveal and Ed Boon is a bit miffed about the leak, so he posted the following image on Twitter.

Played through injustice recently. If they made that into a movie it would have been so much better than batman vs superman.

What was wrong with batman vs superman? The film was epic besides lex Luther & doomsday apart from that it captured everything a comic book reader wanted

I agree the fights were epic and Ben Affleck was terrific. In fact I really enjoyed the film I didn’t dislike it overall. I think injustice would be better and judging by some of those flashbacks they could set that up at some point.
Superman was a non factor in this and his abilities were diluted for the sake of the plot. But my main gripe was a lot of the conflict and stuff was forced. There is so much going on in that film it’s establishing origin stories all over the place, reestablishing batman, forcing the conflict between the two and that ending.
It’s a good film but by God it could have been done soso much better.

Actually, Batman v Superman was shockingly bad imo. Batman origin story that was neither needed nor actually correct (spoiler: Afaik his parents were killed in an alleyway, not on a main road). Batman suddenly rocks up in a super armoured suit that was neither mentioned nor planned for in the film (I get that he would need it, but some allusion to him needing it & perhaps some emphasis on someone actually creating it might have been good).
Batman has also clearly been through some tough times in the run up to that film, but they aren’t covered at all. Just seems like he’s pissed off at the world for no real reason. The bat branding? Really?? Doesn’t seem like something Batman would do, yet that isn’t explained either.
Let’s not get started on the “oh, your mum has the same name, so now all is forgiven” tripe either! Good god.
Now I have to admit that I have not read that particular comic, so these details may in fact be canon to that particular story, but I just found it utterly ridiculous when it had so much promise.
Personally, it was one of the worst films I have seen this year… & I have watched Tekken 2 this year (granted, it was better than that, but you get my point).
Of course, only my opinion, but both me & the wife found it terrible & we watch a lot of comic book movies.

@Forest, firstly let’s talk about the suit, if you pay close attention, Alfred is helping batman create the suite while he’s look for kryptonite (this gets mentioned, they even speak about it being a bad idea) he needed the suit as that’s the only way he could stock up weapons & kryptonite against superman & it was heavy enough to with stand superman blows. secondly in the original comics/cartoons his parents are not killed in a alleyway but road but as the years flew by, each writer had their own version of his back story.
Thirdly, most people probably didn’t get this unless they watched the batman cartoon films (Red hood) but you saw the robin costume had writing on it ‘haha the jokes on you’ basically the joker killed the robin so batman is pissed off & that has changed him over the years.
The film was also cut by 2 hours as well so best to watch the unedited uncut release on DVD. The mother thing yes was silly.
