Bethesda Brings Fallout 4 To HTC Vive In 2017, More VR Plans In Future

Bethesda are dipping their toes into the nascent VR market, just as many publishers are, but are doing it in an interesting fashion. At E3 this year they have two demos, a VR tour of Hell from Doom, as a technology showcase, as well as what they see as a bright future for first person RPGs, as they bring Fallout 4 to the HTC Vive in 2017.

Of course, this is just the start of what they plan for VR, and they’ve aimed for the higher end of the scale, and the more ambitious room scale VR system of the Vive. Though there’s no further news, it’s another indication of where VR gaming could potentially head in the future.

  1. I’d be happier if i hadn’t already put over 100 hours into the game but it’s still potentially more appealing than many of the VR demos.
