There’s A New Terminator Game In Development

Plarium Games has announced a partnership with Skydance Media to create a new game based on the Termintor license. Before you get too excited, this latest spin-off will be centred around the latest film in the franchise, Terminator Genisys, while following Plarium’s social strategy template. The global studio, best known mobile MMO, Stormfall: Age of War, has detailed what players can expect:

This new game will follow the struggles of The Resistance, whose soldiers are in a state of civil war over the few resources and weapons that remain. Players start the game as the machines begin to wake up … but this time, without central command to dictate their actions. Players will have the option to lead a Resistance Commander or Skynet Command Node as the war between machine and man continues.

Available on both Android and iOS, the game is slated to launch in 2017 and will be free-to-play, presumably with micro-transactions.

  1. *Shudders* I have never or will I ever forget Terminator Salvation.

  2. I wasn’t expecting it to be good news and this is annoying.

I would kill for a good Terminator game. Hell, rip off XCOM, make it about machines and humans, boom, there’s your game.

Not a free to play with microtransactions filled app. :(
