From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Not as good as the first but still a solid game, with lots of detail and charm.

I’m not surprised there’s a long trial available because whilst the game isn’t dead, certain game modes like Gnome Bomb are dead. On three separate occasions I’ve tried to get into a game of Gnome Bomb and no one joins, even when there have been daily challenges added for the mode.

Perhaps the various sales and giveaways of the first game has meant people aren’t too fussed about buying the sequel, or perhaps I’m completely wrong and just no one wants to play that mode!

  2. Was a 10 hour trial not available ages ago? I’m fairly sure it was. I downloaded it, gave it a go, decided it was somehow not as good as the first one (couldn’t quite work out why though, just something wasn’t doing it for me), and the game was already dead anyway. Or dying at least. Not going to make it through the night kind of dying.

And now I check the article about it posted 3 months ago which is handily linked to this one. It was only available for a couple of weeks. So cunningly they get to announce a trial version is released twice and get twice the publicity. I’ll assume the game is pretty much completely dead now then, shall I?
