There’s two new Legendary Lords being added from the fantasy tabletop game, with Volkmar the Grim for the Empire and Helman Ghorst for the Vampire Counts, both with their own quest chains, magic items and skill trees.

These come alonside the Strigoi Ghoul King and Arch Lector lord types, to give you more options with hero units on the battlefield, and there’s new units for both, including the Knights of the Blazing Sun, Flagellants, and the Free Company Militia for the Empire, while the Counts get the Corpse Cart and Mortis Engine.

It’s not as big an expansion as Call of the Beastmen was at the end of July, which added a whole new race to the game, but it’s also priced accordingly, coming in at £5.99 (and a 10% pre-order discount if you buy it before the 1st September release date).

Then again, you can not pay a penny and still get some new content. There’s five new battle maps being added to the game, while Vlad Von Carstein is a new legendary lord being made free for all players.
