PC and Xbox platformer Cuphead has been delayed once more and will now launch mid 2017. “Throughout this year we discussed reducing the scope to make a 2016 release, but we made the difficult decision to delay the launch in order to ship with our vision intact,” explains a blog post.
“We are constantly humbled by your continued support. Love you all and can’t wait to get this to you. Without further ado, we will get back to work!” continues the blog.
This is the latest in a long line of delays, the game originally scheduled for 2014, then 2015, then this year and now 2017. One does have to wonder why what appears to be a relatively simple side scroller has been delayed so many times.
