Yesterday’s reveal of the Nintendo Switch brought along with it an announcement of a lot of third party support from various studios and publishers. One piece of software that wasn’t on the original display of partners was Unreal Engine but there has been confirmation that Unreal Engine 4 will be supporting Nintendo’s next console. Games such as Gears Of War 4, EVE Valkyrie, and Kingdom Hearts III all use the game engine.

We are waiting for the technical specifications of the Nintendo Switch, but if it can get a good library of first and third party games then Nintendo could recover from the Wii U’s failure in comparison to other consoles.
