News Snatch: The Last Guardian, Bound, A Load Of Wang, And Improbable Boobs

Hey there, News Snatch time again and as it’s very busy here in TSA Towers let us get right on to it with a video showing the music from The Last Guardian.

Staying with music, Laced Records have announced that pre-orders are now open for the long-awaited physical release of Merregnon Studios’ acclaimed video game concert series, ‘Final Symphony and Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo’.

Recorded, mixed and mastered at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with the London Symphony Orchestra, Final Symphony features arrangements from Final Fantasy VI, VII & X, while Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo, performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, includes music from some of Square Enix’s most cherished role-playing franchises, including Kingdom Hearts, Secrets of Mana and Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross.

Staying with Final Fantasy (these links are working well today!), news reaches us that Sora from Kingdom Hearts will be added to World of Final Fantasy just after the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue in January.

However, he will only be available for a limited time and will be in his Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD outfit.

If you spend just £1,599 on a Microsoft Surface Book then Microsoft will give you a free Xbox. How generous!

Who likes a massive load of Wang? Well you are in luck as Devolver Digital have announced that recently launched hit game, Shadow Warrior 2, is getting a limited boxed collector’s edition. It includes Shadow Warrior 2, Shadow Warrior, Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, and all associated DLC and soundtracks including a printed artbook, stickers, and numbered box.

The director of the Deadpool movie dropped out of the sequel for unspecified reasons but now has a new project: The Sonic the Hedgehog movie. He will serve as executive producer on the project, which is a live action / cgi hybrid.

Mobile title Hitman: Sniper has a Halloween updated which gives Agent 47 access to the deadly crossbow. “The Exorcist”, a brand new weapon to dispatch his targets with three new abilities to quickly eliminate foes: summoning an unfriendly ghost, vicious impaling and a volley of lethal, barbed arrows.

Hell Followed, the second premium DLC pack for Doom, is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Bound, Eagle Flight and EVE: Valkerie are the latest games that will be updated with additional features when running on PlayStation 4 Pro.

“As one of Bound devs I can confirm that except for adding 4K to 2D mode,” explained Bound’s Creative Director Michal Staniszewski. “VR upgrade on PRO will consist of additional effects and almost twice as many pixels rendered. Bound in VR is super sharp on regular PS4 right now, but on PRO it will be hard to see any shimmering pixels at all.”

And Finally, the opening animation from Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash! You probably don’t need me to warn you but just in case – SLIGHTLY NSFW DUE TO IMPROBABLE BOOBS

  1. What on earth is that Japanese video? The boobs were the least NSFW part. Too many times a lady was spread eagled and the camera zoomed right up there.
And that bit with the girl lay on the sun lounger and the other stood over her suggestively pumping the water canon until it squirts all over her face.
Hmm, wonder what that was supposed to represent?
    What a filthy cartoon!

    • It’s straight sinister tbh. Dunno how people just laugh it off tbh.

  2. The Last Guardian music sounds wonderful. Nothing like a full orchestra getting behind a game like that. God knows Journey’s soundtrack was off the scale with quality.

  3. Oh my god! That is the deal and bargain of the decade! A free X1 after dropping 1500 pounds on it! Absolute bargain! I mean, you can buy a few for that amount but it is such a bargain to have that thrown in for free! WOOOOOOW! YIPPEEEEE!

    ………

No. Just no MS or whoever set that price. You can get a top of the line gaming PC for that price. You could probably purchase wales and still have £1598 left to spare. Heck, people won’t buy it just for an X1. It’s only £300 on average for an X1. That thing? That’s quite a lot of pounds. You can buy a car for that price. You can rent a place for that price for a few months! You can own a part of a wall in a Londonland flat for exactly 12 seconds for that price. You can purchase the TSA staff for that price!

    • This is true. I have devalued it beyond repair.
