Sony have whipped out a rather short trailer for The Last Guardian which includes – gasp! – footage we have not seen before, including some gameplay! There appears to be CatBirdDogRat that is less than friendly, plus some human character who have glowing eyes. Maybe there will be a massive twist reveal and this is actually a Killzone game.
The Last Guardian will be on the shelves on December 6th. Like, December 6th this year. No, really, it will be.

I’m not sure at all about preordering this now, I was going to wait for reviews but every trailer or clip gets me a little bit excited again.

It’s because it utterly oozes feeling, love, etc. You can see the heart they’ve put into this game. Other games DREAM of having this level of feeling and adventure in their titles.

True, I totally agree, but it already looks old and I think I’ve said before I’ve gotten a bit of delay fatigue. I want to be excited but its just not happening, rather than being a glorious teenage crush TLG has turned into a too-drunk one night stand!

If it’s anything like the feeling of me playing SoTC not too long ago – with its ageing graphic, etc. – it can still be a wonderful time.
The way the visuals shone in both Ico and SoTC was never really about the technical achievement. Hopefully this will be the same, with this concentrating on making one hell of an experience first and foremost.
Wait! I have the answer. When you play The Last Guardian, just be drunk! :D
