Barely a week into 2017, and Paragon’s next character is already on the way, with Serath set to join the game’s varied roster on 10th January. She’s a character with a bit of a dark side hiding behind her holier than thou façade.
Her abilities let her close distance quickly to get up close and personal with melee attacks. Chastise deals damage and slows enemies at the same time, with an area of effect to other nearby enemies, Heaven’s Fury has her hover in midair and deal damage to all targets within an area in turn, while making her immune to damage at the same time, and Ascend sees Serath rise up into the air and the dive back down and deal damage in a target area.
However, her ultimate is Heresy, which lets her darker side loose and applies a burn effect and weakness to nearby enemies. They then take extra damage from Serath’s basic attacks.
Paragon is Epic Games’ take on free to play gaming and MOBAs, and it’s constantly evolving. They closed out last year with the Monolith update, which brought a major overhaul of the game’s pacing and a new map, which Dom wrote about here.
