EU PS Store Update 10/01/17 – Hatsune Miku, Tales of Berseria Demo & Cursed Castilla

It’s the first EU PlayStation Store update of the year, and it makes for suitably sleepy January viewing. You have Hatsune Mike: Project DIVA Future Tone, the retro infused Cursed Castilla and Spheroids for three PlayStation platforms. Alongside that, there’s a smattering of DLC for Steep and LittleBigPlanet 3, and a demo for Tales of Berseria.

Chances are you’ve already grabbed the PS+ games that landed last week, but just in case, here’s a little reminder:

  1. Anyone else finding BlazRush not showing up as PS+?

    • It showed up late, along with Titan Souls (although nobody would miss that, I’m sure). But it definitely eventually arrived last Tuesday.

Not looking at the PS4 version, are you? Which was/is on sale.

  2. I URGE anyone who loves rhythm games, ignore any other Project Diva game and head straight for Future tone and grab the bundle pack. 224 songs to play across 3-5 difficulties depending on the song. I have never spent some long in rhythm action heaven. Also Spheriods looks like a nice Pang alternative.

    • I just tried it out. It’s got 2 songs and a pair of £25 DLCs to make up the other silly number of songs.

And I’ve got no idea what’s going on. Buttons flying everywhere, stuff going on in the background that you’ve got no chance of paying any attention to at all, so why they bothered, I’m not entirely sure. And somehow I played it for at least 39 minutes and 39 seconds. A trophy popped up. I’ll assume 39 is a special number as 11 of the 20 trophies contain it.

It’s almost tempting. They’d definitely have got me if there were cheaper bundles of less songs.

And not sure about the difficulty. Easy and Normal are too easy, Hard is a bit of a challenge and Extreme is “Do I look like a fucking octopus to you???”
