John Wick is hands down one of the best action films to ever be created. It takes audiences to a world where its rules are already established and you’re expected to believe all of it could exist. While I don’t want to experience the tragedies John Wick faces leading up to him coming out of retirement to exact revenge I wouldn’t mind possessing some of his abilities.
Well if you have a HTC Vive you’ll be able to experience John Wick’s skills when it comes to firearms as John Wick Chronicles will be released on February 9th. The experience is tasks players with taking out tough targets, and you can also explore the Continental Hotel. It’d be nice to see this experience come to other headsets too though. It’s not the first time a VR experience based on a recent film has been released, for example The Martian VR which turned out to be awful. There’s also going to be an Alien: Covenant one too.
Update: HTCÂ are taking this opportunity to push the Vive some more with an in-store presence alongside John Wick Chronicles. Between 3rd and 26th February. You’ll be able to try out an exclusive demo at the following locations.

Looking forward to this, there’s a lot of shooters on the Vive, but mostly seem to be zombies, robots or dinosaurs.. Shooting actual (virtual) bad guys seems to be quite rare.
Oh, and you also get Payday 2 as a pre-order bonus.. Not sure if I want that tho.
