Details Regarding Mafia 3’s Story DLC Content And Release Windows Confirmed

Over the next few months the paid story DLC for Mafia 3 will be released with the first, titled “Faster, Baby”, releasing at the end of March. This DLC sees Lincoln partner up with a character called Roxy Laveau to bring down a sheriff that has been targetting Civil Rights activists. The name of the DLC refers to the number of fast cars, chases, and stunts that will be present in the content. It will also include a new area to explore.

In May the second paid story DLC drops in the form of “Stones Unturned.” Here Lincoln and Donovan have to work together to take down a rival who has feuded with the two since their time in Vietnam. No more details about who this character is have been released. The final content drop takes place in July with the DLC being titled “Sign Of The Times”. This DLC has Lincoln hunting down a cult that has been conducting ritualistic murders. Again no details about the cult have been confirmed.

  1. I felt that the base game was a little lacklustre (though not many games in general can compare to the awesome Mafia 2) but the DLC sounds really good, tempted to dive back in.

  2. Finished my first playthrough of Mafia 3 this weekend, enjoyed it on the whole. I can appreciate the repetition of the process of taking over an area may have been a drawback, but I think the game was the right length to avoid it becoming too much of an issue for me. Some of the trophies (“Family” and “The New Boss”) failed to unlock, though, which spoilt it a little. I really enjoyed the story, so I’m looking forward to anything that gives me a reason to go back into New Bordeaux.
