The PSVR headset has received a new app today in the form of Lens, which is a video app that has a library of 360° 3D videos as well as 2D ones. The app is already available on a number of VR platforms including Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. The apps file size is only 31.46MB so it hardly takes up space on the PS4 console.
Whether Lens will succeed here is another matter though. A couple of months ago another VR streaming app, VRideo, shut down, and YouTube recently added an update that supports PSVR through the PS4. If you want to download the app you can click through to the PSN Store.

Haven’t tried You Tube VR but will give it a go (& this app) the next time I swap HDMI cables.

I tried it. Sorry, but it’s a bit rubbish, only about 8 videos and the stream quality was very blocky. The menu system is bodged as well with text overlapping.
