Bastion Buffed As Overwatch Season 4 Gets Underway

Blizzard has rolled out its latest patch for Overwatch, available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It comes just in time for the game’s fourth competitive ranked season and brings some notable changes.

First up is the new Game Browser tool, allowing users to create their own custom modes before inviting friends or sharing them publicly.

Following the recent Year of the Rooster event, Blizzard has decided to keep its Capture the Flag mode. It has now been added to the game’s Arcade playlist with 12 compatible maps.

A number of heroes have also undergone some work with some console-specific tweaks. For example, Symmetra’s base damage has been increased along with that of Torbjorn’s turret. It’s Bastion, however, that seizes the spotlight in this latest round of updates. Although slightly weaker in Sentry Mode, he’s been given plenty of mobility in order to sidestep hard counters such as Genji, Tracer etc.

  1. Not sure it’s a buff, his bullet spread had increased and his ability to hit criticals has been removed.
Some pretty good balances to be honest, they’ve not done anything I disagree with.
Bungie should go spend a few days with Blizzard and learn how to balance a game because the changes they make to Destiny in an attempt to balance always miss the mark.
