Another month and another update for Gears Of War 4 with the March update bringing two more maps, ranked lobbies, and improvements to the Gnasher, the gun not Dennis The Menace’s dog. The maps that Gears 4 players will be able to shoot at each other on are The Diner, a brand new map from The Coalition, and Gears 3’s Old Town. The maps are live today for players with access to the Developer playlist while regular players have to wait until March 14th.
Ranked Lobbies are the biggest addition to Gears 4 in this update for both Core and Competitive matches. Lobbies will contain map voting, customisation options, and bounty selections. If someone leaves a lobby prior to a game starting the match countdown will cancel and begin again when a new player is added to the lobby instead, allowing for more balanced teams.
