This is Drive Girls which is coming to PS Vita, but it’s not as some might assume a sexist version of the PlayStation 4 racer. Instead, it’s a hack and slash game featuring ladies who transform in to sports cars. It’s like Transformers, but less sexy. The game will launch in Europe on May 26th.
Warner Bros have patented distribution tech for VR movies, which allows customers to stream VR films from places such as iTunes as well as distribution in movie theatres.
Elite Dangerous has been patched, The Commanders introduces Multicrew co-op play, the highly customizable Holo-Me avatar creator, the new Dolphin passenger vessel, an all-new third-person camera suite, cavernous Asteroid Bases and new Mega Ships.
The game will also be getting a boxed release on PS4 and Xbox One, with the pack including the base game, the Horizons expansion and 1,000 Frontier points. The PS4 version will also be tweaked to make use of the touchpad.
Business News: Just Cause devs Avalanche have nabbed 10M investment from Nordisk Film which will help them “further accelerate toward our goal of developing and self-publishing more high quality games.”
Elsewhere, Ubisoft have opened two more studios, giving them a total of a millionty and one studios. The latest is in Berlin, and has a nice video.
