Haemimont Games, the developers best known for their Tropico series, and Paradox Interactive are teaming up for a brand new title called Surviving Mars. Coming in 2018, it’s a good fit for Paradox, following on from their success with Cities: Skylines, and was described as a “hardcore survival city builder” during the PDXCON press conference.
While the trailer ends on a humorous note, this is to be a somewhat more serious effort compared to the Tropico series.
As you’d expect, it’s coming to PC, Mac and Linux, but it’s also coming to console with PS4 and Xbox One.
