One of the surprisingly popular aspects of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the card game Gwent. I can’t tell you how many hours I spent playing that while exploring CD Projekt RED’s latest entry to the Witcher series. The popularity spawned the standalone Gwent game which has been in closed beta for a while, but all of that will change of May 24th.
On that day Gwent enters the public beta phase and it will be playable on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Everyone will begin anew meaning those who took part in the closed beta will have all their decks wiped. However as some compensation closed beta players will receive card kegs and will retain their level, ore, and scraps.
The Gwent servers will be offline from May 22nd for the change to public beta.
