UK Charts 27/05/17 – Injustice 2 Holds Onto The Top Spot For A Second Week

Overwatch’s anniversary last week saw retailers slashing the price of the game to under £25, which helped it to surge up the UK charts and come close to claiming the top spot once more, just as Dishonored 2 hit 8th after being slashed to £10. The only game standing in Overwatch’s way was Injustice 2, which managed to hold onto first place while sales slid 52% from its first week on sale.

Last week was actually a rather slow one in terms of new releases, and those that did come out weren’t blockbusting titles. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers only managed 10th place on Nintendo Switch – Nintendo can be proud of having three exclusives in the top 10, though, with a restock of consoles helping to push Breath of the Wild sales up by 53% and up into 9th. Meanwhile, the lovely Rime only made it as high as 27th. Here’s hoping that game has done much better digitally than it has at retail.

  1. Farpoint holding on in there is no bad thing. Especially considering nobody seems to have it and the gun bundle available in store. My copy should be with me today, looking forward to booting it up.
