Rebellion are best known for their WW2 sniping games, both with the Sniper Elite series and its spin-off co-op zombie shooter Zombie Army Trilogy. Now they’re taking a further little step back in time to the 1930s, asking you and your friends to head on a perilous safari to the corners of the British Empire with Strange Brigade.
This definitely builds on their experience with Zombie Army Trilogy, but does away with Nazi zombies in favour of a broader selection of the supernatural. You’ll be fighting against an army of mythological beasts which were unleashed by a resurrected Egyptian witch queen, but don’t worry about being outmatched by their special powers. Each of the four distinct explorers, the eponymous Strange Brigade, have superhuman powers of their own.
Strange Brigade is “coming soon” to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, so while we wait for a release date announcement, why not feast your eyes on this lovely batch of screenshots?
