Assassin’s Creed Origins Finally Gets Announced, Out 27th October

It’s been a long time coming, but Ubisoft have finally, finally announced the new Assassin’s Creed Origins and that it’s coming out on 27th October.

It’s been leaked to hell and back, so don’t be surprised if some of this looks or sounds familiar to what you already know. Below is the first gameplay trailer, which has been edited for the sake of time.

Taking you all the way back to ancient Egypt, you play as Bayek, the last Magi and protector/lawkeeper of your community in Siwa. In the end his actions lead to the foundation of the brotherhood of Assassin’s.

Ubisoft promise that there’s more RPG elements to the game, such as having weapons having different quality, with more interlinked systems in the world. Interestingly, as you hunt down Medunamun, you get to use your falcon to scout out an area in a manner that’s not too dissimilar to a Tom Clancy game.

I'm probably wearing toe shoes, and there's nothing you can do to stop me!

  1. Sick! Not sure about the arrow at the end changing direction though?

  2. Looks great! Love the Egypt setting.

    • Agreed, fans have been asking for an Egyptian setting for years!

  3. Sold. I’ve been up and down with the whole series but this looks awesome.

  4. I’m done with Assassins Creed … maybe … but those aerial views look stunning.

  5. This is going to be SO good.

Never should have had a break last year IMO.
