As many will know, Friday The 13th: The Game didn’t get off to the best of starts. At launch, this unique multiplayer title based on the horror franchise was racked with bugs and insane matchmaking times.
Developer IllFonic has fixed most of these issues though wants to make amends with those fans who have been stalking/surviving since day one.
According to the studio, today players can expect a free “Retro Jason” skin. It’s no way near as snazzy as this nightmarish £400 Tom Savini skin, remixing Jason’s default costume with a different colour palette. That said, it does come with a retro-inspired chiptune music track.
IllFonic also confirmed that all players will receive 13,000 CP to spend in-game. On top of that there will be a double XP weekend between June23-25th.
