Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Absolution DLC Coming To PS4 On 6th July

It feels like everyone’s mentally moved on from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. While absolutely not a bad game, it didn’t capture the imaginations of Call of Duty fans, and so the focus has quickly shifted over to the upcoming COD WWII. Yet the production line of DLC keeps on rolling, and the Absolution map pack is set to arrive on PS4 (who have the one month exclusivity period) on 6th July.

There’s no trailer for it, which is part of why it feels like Infinite Warfare is quietly being brushed under the rug, but it will feature the usual mix of four maps and a new Zombies episode. Those four maps are Bermuda, a shantytown around the wreck of a crashed ship; Permafrost, set on a frozen city skyline; Fore, a fantasy golf course with magical forests, creamsicles and castle walls; and Ember, a remake of the Modern Warfare 3 map Resistance.

On the Zombies side of things, Cassandra Peterson will reprise her role as Elvira in the 1950s creature feature-themed “Attack of the Radioactive Thing!” Our four heroes have been whisked away to a new era of horror movies, this time taking them to a ravaged beach town that has been altered by a government science experiment. There’s new weapons, traps and more, with actors Seth Green as “the Scientist”, Ike Barinholtz as “the Rebel”, Jay Pharoah as “the Soldier”, and Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer) as “the School Girl”, all making a return for the evolving story.
