Project Cars 2 Track List Revealed With 60 Tracks & 139 Layouts

You could leave it at simple saying that there’s an awful lot of tracks in Project Cars 2 – there’s quite a few cars as well – but Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios have laid it all out for us, detailing the 139 different track layouts across 60 locations.

There’s many of the absolute classics included on the list, and when I say that, I mean classics new and old. You can race the old Silverstone track, for example, the historic Hockenheimring, in addition to the modern renditions of each. All of the tracks on the list are catered for by the game’s LiveTrack 3.0 system, so that they evolve with dynamic weather, season, day-night transitions, and do so with a great deal of precision. LiveTrack 3.0 is a bit part of why the game won’t be native 4K on the Xbox One X.

Here’s the full list of tracks and variations:

  1. Impressive list. Racers are sometimes light on content but they’re really going all out for this sequel. Tempted.

  2. A very good selection of circuits, and I’m glad to see there’s a few historic track layouts included. The old Hockenheim was a great track, skinny wings for the long straights meant that the cars were sliding around in the stadium section where there were quite a few mistakes made. I would like to see it back in F1 but that will never happen in this safety conscious times.

    • Old Hockenheim sadly doesn’t exist anymore. It’s all woods now.

      • Yeah, I saw that on Tee’s Notebook a couple of years ago.

      • I mean, the trees probably make trying to race F1 cars through there even more dangerous.

  3. Good stuff, although not that many new race circuits, a lot of this was in PCars 1.
