Four New PlayStation VR Games On The Way From China

The PlayStation Blog has posted details of four new games unveiled at the ChinaJoy Expo in Shanghai, all of which are for PlayStation VR. First up is Stifled which sounds a lot like a VR version of Perception. It’s a horror game in which you reveal the surroundings using sound, but rather than constantly tapping the X button as you had to in Perception you use the PSVR’s inbuilt microphone and your own voice.

Chinese developer Haymaker are up next with fantasy combat game The Walker. You play as descendant of the ancient Fangxiang family with skills in swordmanship and magic and must traverse ancient Shanghai, battling demonic militia and tackling epic boss fights.

Kill X from VIVA Games is a time travelling adventure set on a remote island filled with humans who have undergone horrific experiments. Expect plenty of shooting and a smattering of puzzles to solve.

The final game is a real-time strategy title, Legion Commander. Orcs, Humans, and Elves battle each other with each race having special classes and spell cards.

Great to see Chinese developers getting more attention.

  2. Glad the VR is getting more love than the vita ever did

  3. The Walker and Stifled look appealing to me, looking forward to more details.

  4. Feeling them, I think there’s still so much more for this application to give. PSVR is great!
