Guerrilla Games has confirmed that  the major DLC expansion The Frozen Wilds for Horizon Zero Dawn will be available on November 7th. The expansion was first revealed in June confirming that a new region would be added to the game, along with new machines to take on, and a new story to uncover. You can catch a glimpse of the new area in the teaser below.
The Frozen Wilds is already up for pre-order with it being priced at £15.99, though Plus members get a reduced price of £14.39. Anyone who pre-order will also get an exclusive avatar.

Brilliant! That’s ten days before Battlefront, perfect timing. This is the first bit of DLC I’ve preordered, how do these tend to work, can you set them au auto download before the release date?

If it’s anything like pre-ordering on the PS4 with full games, I’m hoping it’ll install early and then it’s just a timer.
Um, I think that’s how it’s gone for me in the past.

I didn’t play HZD because I was too busy with Nier, then P5. If they going to keep releasing this kind of DLC I’ll prob wait until a definitive edition hits.

Still need to play the base game! Looks phenomenal but there have been so many great games this year I’ve struggled to keep up.
Determined to get through my backlog of Last Guardian, Ratchet and Clank, Nier, Nioh and Splatoon2 before moving onto anything else!
Who am I kidding? ;)
