The last few South Park games have become almost synonymous with development delays, with the first game trapped in some lower level of hell while in development under the struggling THQ, before eventually being picked up and shepherded to released by Ubisoft. Despite an optimistic announcement at E3 2016, the sequel, The Fractured But Whole was also heavily delayed, from the end of last year until early 2017 and then further back to 17th October.
That release date seems to have finally stuck, and Ubisoft announced at the end of last week that the game had gone gold.
Showcasing a ton of the series’ twisted and frankly bizarre sense of humour, Ubi released the following trailer to celebrate the development milestone.
