If you get excited about concrete, you’ll probably be a great candidate for life in as a Martian colonist. The latest trailer for Surviving Mars take a lightly humorous look at the way that building a colony will have to partly rely on imported resources from Earth, such as concrete, while trying to build a thriving and self sustaining habitat for humans. What’s great to see is that, while it will have an edge of difficulty compared to other city builders, Haemimont Games’ sense of humour comes through, just as it does in their Tropico series.
Surviving Mars is planned for release on PC and consoles in 2018. We’ve seen the game a couple of times, including spending hands on time with the game at Gamescom, which you can see below:
